In April 2024 I had a mini meet up in Istanbul and Cappadocia turkey. This trip was originally supposed to have nine guest but seven of them dropped out after Israel invaded Gaza.

So it ended up being a mini meet up with just me and one other person , the delightful Raina. I could not have asked for a better person to explore Istanbul with for the first time.

This is a Vlog of our adventures around the city as well as some things I did over the days I spent on my own before Raina arrived in Istanbul.

Istanbul is absolutely delightful! It was my second time visiting, but my first time really having time to explore.

Istanbul is a first class city with amazing historical sites, and so much to do and see. Great shopping opportunities wonderful food very friendly people. I absolutely loved it and hope to return again someday.

I highly recommend a visit if you have never been.
