What's up fight fans, MMA Mystic back to do my prediciton and breakdown of the first prelim fight of UFC 309 Jones vs Miocic which takes place Saturday November 16th, 2024 in New York City. It's the final Pay-Per-View of the year and boy is it a banger of a card!

In the first fight of the night, I believe Hardy will win the fight by unanimous decision, mainly due to her superior striking and well-rounded game. Hardy has been in the UFC since 2016 and has improved significantly after returning from a hiatus, currently on a three-fight winning streak. She's a powerful striker with a Taekwondo background and solid grappling skills, which will help her neutralize Moura's grappling. Hardy is big for the 125-pound division and has strong takedown defense, meaning she can avoid being controlled on the ground. Moura, on the other hand, is primarily a grappler with a questionable record and lacks striking ability. Though she has size and physicality advantages, she has struggled with cardio and tends to fade in later rounds. While Hardy might be taken down at times, she should be able to scramble back to her feet and outstrike Moura for the majority of the fight. Hardy’s striking, combined with her ability to defend takedowns and work on the feet, should lead her to a dominant decision victory.
