Echo EA-410 Earth Auger

Never used an auger before today. And this tool rocks! We’ll, until there are rocks. I needed to read the manual hence my starting issues Super easy to start: watch your choke and your start switch + don’t hold on to the trigger handle.

Tips:
1. this instrument works without any muscle so just guide it. (I focus on keeping it vertically level not pushing it down)
2. If there is something in the way clear it. (Or you’ll be wasting your energy and wearing your bit)
3. Keeping the nearby area clear of debris and soil help the machine clear dirt out of the way. (If you don’t clear your dirt and rocks the auger works harder and the hole is refilled upon exit of the machine)
4. Mark your holes and give yourself 4” between the holes as overlap will cause the auger to shift toward the path of least resistance(your last hole)
