How To Make A Fluted Table *Using Pool Noodles*

Описание к видео How To Make A Fluted Table *Using Pool Noodles*

Come on an adventure with me as I make a fluted table from scratch using pool noodles I picked up from a charity shop for only $5 - true story! When my friend Jemma asked me to help her make a table for her entryway, I knew a fluted table would look beautiful. The only problem? I had never made one before! But I was up for the challenge. I created a project mood board with a colour palette that reflected her home and style, as well as other images to show how I’d like to style the final reveal and bring my vision to life. She loved it all, so we got to work. I came up with an affordable solution to creating a fluted base after stumbling across a box of pool noodles at a charity shop for $5. Throw in a circle table top with rounded edges and Jemma's genius idea for the base, and here we are.

What I love most about this fluted table is that you can really make it your own. You can paint it any colour you like, you can have a chunky tabletop or even a different shape! However, the biggest surprise were the pool noodles - when painted they look like textured concrete! And this texture offset the smooth, rounded top beautifully and brought everything together. I really hope this project inspires you to make your own fluted table!
