All About Hamlet: Act 1, scene 5

In this installment of my “All About Hamlet” series, I’ll talk about ghost conspiracies, the Globe Theatre stage, cursed hebona, and Hamlet’s (pretty late) coming of age.

This scene boasts revelations, humor, and one-liners that have stuck with me. It is also the first major turning point in the play.

If you are learning or teaching Hamlet, this is a great resource. Please watch or read Act 1, scene 5 before watching this video. Shakespeare’s Hamlet is fantastic on its own, but I want to add my own discussion to the mix!
