ugh i'm not totally satisfied with this take and also feel insecure about my voice but whatever…

i’ve always found chappell roan’s story so powerful. i don’t fully relate to it, but something about it just gets me. i wanted to dig into that weird, painful space between the girl and the guy who ends up her husband. from how i picture it, he really does love her; but for her, it’s just a cover, a way to hide. kinda tragic and heartbreaking when you think about it like that.
