The City of Myrtle Beach will never forget.
This morning, to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11, the Myrtle Beach Fire Department held its annual 9/11 Stair Climb at the Yachtsman Resort. Dozens of firefighters climbed the stairs to remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who lost their lives in Lower Manhattan.
Additionally, Myrtle Beach's 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony took place this morning at the Unity Memorial in Warbird Park. Hundreds of community members attended to show their support. We appreciate all who made it out for the event.
