Building a new life and a new business- Dr Amer's self employment journey in the UK

After moving to the UK from Ukraine, Dr Amer Al Atti has not only started a new life in this country, he is also building his business.

Luve Coffee & Roastery was a successful and thriving family business in Ukraine, but once the war began, Dr Amer sadly lost his established work and moved to Dorset for a fresh start.

He was referred to Seetec Pluss by his local jobcentre and benefitted from the support of our self-employment service, where we can help people just like Dr Amer to achieve their dreams. His Self-Employment Adviser, Ryan Elford, guided Dr Amer every step of the way to restart his established business here in the UK, helping him to ship his machinery over from Ukraine, putting him in touch with the Federation of Small Businesses, and importantly, moral support so he maintained his determination.
