In this video we take a look at this PS4 with a persistent White Light of Death (WLOD). User replaced his HDMI port and Encoder IC to find he still had no display output. I replaced his Encoder for a supposedly 'known good' part as the replacement was badly shorted internally. Then I get to work...

We find a bad resistor on the Pin 13 circuit but we still don't get the expected results we're after once we've replaced it. Maybe that Encoder isn't as good as we were led to believe...

Do we get it working again? You'll have to wait until the end ;-)
