The Gujarat High Court has rejected Sanjiv Bhatt's transfer petition and refused him permission of recording the proceedings against him. Sanjiv Bhatt is already serving a life imprisonment sentence in a 1990 custodial death case, and is now being prosecuted in a drug planting case that happened in 1996.
