After praying for a friend who passed away, a female pastor was taken to hell. To her surprise, he was there. God also allowed her to see three areas of hell that punished Christians who have committed different sins mentioned in the Bible.

1. Unbelief: Can Christians have unbelief in them? Of course they can. Some Christians are just cultural Christians who do not really believe that the Lord Jesus is God. Even if they do believe in the Lord, they may still be unbelievers because they do not believe in God’s warnings in the Bible. Belief in God’s Word must be proven by doing what the Lord and His law commands.

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; (Heb. 3:12)

2. Greed: Mentioned in the Ten Commandments in the Bible. Greed is an umbrella term that includes all the sins of covetousness, such as gluttony, love of the world, desire for another’s wife, possessions or money, leading to envy, jealousy, etc. If another loves the world, love of the Father is not in him. Today, many people have forgotten the God who created them because of their love for the material pleasures of the world.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. (Col. 3:5)

3. Verbal sins: The Bible calls us to love others as ourselves. But to hurt someone with words, to criticize, curse or to be angry with others are all signs of a lack of love toward them. Actions as such will be condemned. Sometimes, words can be more destructive than physical harm.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. (James 3:6)
