Basic Custard Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 creame box
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Heat milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Gradually add hot milk mixture
3. Return mixture to saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
4. Cook until thickened (170°F - 180°F or 77°C - 82°C).
5. Remove from heat.
7. Strain custard into a clean bowl.

Tips:

1. Use room temperature.
2.Adding hot milk.
3. Cook custard over low heat to prevent scrambling.
4. Stir constantly to prevent lumps.

Storage:

. Refrigerate: Up to 2 days.
