The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) has released "Today Versus Tomorrow", a film about the future of climate policy in British Columbia. The film brings leading experts together in conversation regarding the review of CleanBC.

On Nov. 26, the Government of British Columbia released the final report from an independent review of CleanBC, the province’s climate action plan. The government has committed to consider the report’s recommendations as it plans its next steps.

To inform the review, PICS commissioned and released a series of papers to provide insights regarding CleanBC. These papers were considered by the independent review and have been released publicly to support conversation and decision-making.

As part of PICS’ larger commitment to knowledge sharing, our Executive Director Ian Mauro sat down with researchers in our university network to talk about CleanBC, and our team produced this companion film to engage diverse audiences on this timely topic.

This film highlights the importance of pursuing ambitious climate goals and how we need to move forward collectively to build a resilient, affordable, and climate-ready future.
