Check out the new winter livestock freeze proof water system we installed. We purchased one of Russ Wilson's livestock water valves that he designed that allows a small stream of water to flow continuously to prevent freezing. It has a small brass petcock that allows you to set the flow of water coming into the tank. With an overflow installed it seems to be working very well so far.
