Goa was once a traveller’s paradise, but has it lost its charm to over-tourism, bad behaviour, and commercialization? In this video, I set out to explore Karnataka’s coastline to see if it’s the fresh escape travellers are looking for.

The journey begins at the Goa-Karnataka border, where I venture into Gokarna’s serene beaches before heading to Udupi to try its legendary cuisine. From there, I explore the breathtaking beauty of St. Mary’s Island before wrapping up in the vibrant coastal city of Mangalore.

Along the way, I meet locals, try iconic dishes, and uncover whether Karnataka offers what Goa once did - or something even better.
