Rusty Dagger Solo Adventure: Spire of the Golem

Not even a third of the way through the year, and already we have my second brand new game for the channel. This time it's Rusty Dagger by Table Salt Games. Rusty Dagger is a solo adventure miniature game, a little like the old choose-your-adventure fantasy books. Coming it a price of a whole two dollars from DriveThru RPG, it comes in a handy 'zine booklet format. Each booklet is made from a single sheet of paper. The first booklet goes over the rules, the second character creation, and the third is the first adventure that we will be running through today, Spire of the Golem.

Having the necessary miniatures already painted and at hand, the only thing I needed to do was make a battle grid that the game uses for its combat encounters. That done, the adventure awaits.

Following his disastrous attempt to steal chimera eggs, Raskin the Reptile, former mercenary captain, is drowning his sorrows at the local tavern, The Rusty Dagger. There he hears tales of a mysterious and by all accounts unlooted enchanted tower that just appeared in the countryside. Low on cash, morale and a respect for the property rights of magical real estate, Raskin sets off in the hopes of discovering fortune and glory. Or at least enough loot to pay for his next few meals in town.
