Ride onboard as I take the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Toro racing around the tight and twisty Guizhou Junchi International Circuit in Guiyang City, Guizhou province, China.

This day was part of the Mercedes-AMG driving academy, It was another new circuit for me, maybe one a little to tight and twisty for such car, but we was there do a quick demo run in our China GT race car. The plan was only to do a few laps and the wet tyres were already starting to overheat as the track was a lot drier than we expected, meaning we just used the normal dry lines, whilst avoiding all the cones put out for our customers.

The cones have been positioned in such a way that it tells you roughly when to start braking, the turn in point and when to accelerate all whilst in a safe and controlled environment for the customer. For me they were more of a hinderance as we can carry more speed and position the car a little differently with the additional aero, wider tyres and set up.
