What is a Bastille soap?
In short, it's the alternative soap to Castile Soap. Castile soap contains 100% pure olive oil. Originating from the Castile region of Spain, it was traditionally made from only one ingredient - Pure Olive Oil.

Bastille soap on the other hand is made mostly with olive oil (not less than 70%) along with other oils/butters that not only cleans but also nourishes and moisturizes the skin.

In this soap, I've used
Fresh Goat's milk
Extra Virgin Olive oil
Organic unrefined Shea butter
Organic unrefined Cocoa butter
Wood pressed Castor oil &
Lavender essential oil
These are known to be the best ingredients to be used on baby's delicate skin. This soap is cured for a minimum of 3 months.

BASIC INFORMATION:
Soap making requires sodium hydroxide, which is more commonly known as caustic soda or lye. Without lye, soaps cannot be made. When oils, water and sodium hydroxide are mixed together, the end product is soap. After 45 days of curing, no lye will remain in the soap.
