"Congrats Matt" from Steel Pulse's Amlak Tafari

Amlak Tafari (of the grammy award winning band Steel Pulse) made a lovely video to congratulate Lab member Matt Nicholson on the defense of his PhD dissertation. Amlak is a friend of the lab, a member of Gnathiid Gnation, and also serves on the board for EPIC (Environmental Protection in the Caribbean) alongside our principal investigator, Dr. Paul Sikkel.

Gnathiid Gnation is the name for Dr. Paul Sikkel's research lab. Based at the university of Miami in South Florida, we study various aspects of marine ecology. However, one of our main research focuses is the enigmatic gnathiid isopod! Gnathiids are tick-like parasites of fishes that remove blood meals from hosts.
