TRAWLER LIFE! 24hrs underway overnight on a Nordhavn 55!

Join us this week as we do a 24 hr cruise underway on our Nordhavn trawler. When planned correctly overnight cruises are our very favorite. Kids sleep and whoever is driving gets to captain in peace. We had a beautiful cruise down to Hollywood Florida. We were meeting our friends on S/V Delos. Watch as we try our hands as fishermen. Do we catch one? We cook, relax, do a few boat jobs and ultimately are just living as a family. These are the moments that we live for. If you are looking for a place to anchor between the keys and Palm Beach then I recommend anchoring at Hollywood lake. Anchor in the South lake if you have a deep draft boat like ours. The charts will say it is 2-4ft deep everywhere but it is not. It was over 20 ft deep most everywhere we checked. The holding is good there as well. The only downfall is on the weekends the boaters can make it bumpy during the day because there is no wake rules in that anchorage. Enjoy our videos you guys.
