Chanced upon this series of poly-bagged LEGO Ferrari race car models while searching for Speed Champions set online. These toy cars were released by Shell way back 2014 as promo items for its prime gasoline product “V-Power”. While the polybag packaging has the “LEGO” logo on it, I was thinking that this is not an official set, it being a promotional product.

The build is simple, with its very few pieces, but awesome enough to represent a typical go-kart type racing car. Highlight of the model is its pull-back motor mechanism and the unique wedge that make up the front grill, bumper and hood. The wedge piece is used is exclusive to this set only (per BrickLink) and is the only printed brick in the set (except for the gold rim print on the wheels). The pull-back motor is so effective it can really speed-up the sprinting of the car.
