Metallic Overdirve Djs Bob "warhead" Thomas and Jim "Cranker" Ferraro travelled to Albany to see slayer live. The band had a few off days after the Albany show and ended up staying at the Crankers house while they tried to get a Rochester show. All the venues in town were booked up, but there was an instore at the House Of Guitars and this interview.

Also there is mention of local Rochester heavy metal bands IRON ANGEL, WHITE WIDOW AND BLACK DRAGON. If, anyone remembers these bands let me know
