UBC Okanagan Co-op 101 | Explore Co-op with a UBCO student

Hello my dear friends.

It's Mia from the UBCO Student Life team and today I have something a little bit different for you.

It's Co-op 101.

Today we're going to talk about what Co-op is, why it's beneficial, what needs to be done beforehand in general, how to get into the call program, and a little bit of advice at the very end.

Extend classroom learning through to the workplace and beyond with UBC Okanagan’s Interdisciplinary Co-op Education Program.

Community employer partners hiring Co-op students come from a broad range of sectors and workplaces, including public organizations, non-profit agencies and large corporations, to small businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups.

The Co-op programs are diverse for students too—open to undergraduate students in Arts, Fine Arts, Human Kinetics / Health & Exercise Sciences, Management, Media Studies and Science, students of all skill-sets are eligible to participate in co-op.
