Puatriu Tatmei Lu | Malan Pamei |

'Puatriu Tatmei', means the act of receiving someone coming from work or a trip, so as to help carry some of their load and/or usher them into the house. It may require the receiving person to travel very far and wait for the incoming person/group. The term is more common among children coming out to meet their mothers , who return from far off field with heavy load. More than helping their mom, children just long for their mothers' presence and love, and the goodies the mothers bring for them from the field!

And 'Lu' means 'song'!
