ISCAR introduces Ultra-Precise ER11 Collets to Compliment High Speed SpinJet Spindles with Small Diameter Cutting Tools.
For small cutting tools the runout-tool diameter ratio is especially important. The cutting depth is measured in microns. Each deviation can have a crucial influence on the cutter’s performance and tool life.
The ultra-precise collets feature a non-collapsible 12 slot design suitable for use with any ER11 collet chuck. The new ER-AAA collets provide higher accuracy and consistent repeatability.
AAA grade: Runout accuracy of 0.002 mm / 0.0001 inches
The new ER-AAA collets comply with ISCAR’s high standards of finishing. A special coating to increase wear resistance and improve corrosion protection has been added to enhance the advantageous system. High surface finish guarantees consistent repeatability and prolonged runout.
The new rigid and reliable connection improves the performance parameters of the tools for increased productivity and manufacturing accuracy.
