The General is the most important piece on the battlefield.
As with the King in chess, keeping the General alive is the ultimate objective.

✅ Movement, and Capture
The General moves one square in any direction: vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.
It captures in the same way, by moving onto an occupied enemy square.

⚠️ Protection is Key
Its survival is the central objective of the game: if the General is captured, the battle is lost.
Its safety should always be a priority - use defensive units like Sentinels or Builders to shield it from sudden attacks.
