Adam: What's going on everybody Adam, with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer class three custom fit hitch for our 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. So this is going to be a two inch by two inch hitch receiver. So it's going to have a lot of different options when it comes to accessories. But just initially looking at it, this is what it's going to look like when it's installed on your vehicle. And what I like about it is one, it's relatively easy to install.

We have no cutting or drilling that we need to do on our brand new vehicle. I usually like to keep it as OEM as I can, and keep the holes and the cutting to a minimum. Also, with the flat black powder-coated finish, it kind of matches the OEM black on this lower rear facia. And that's definitely a plus.I definitely want to make sure that my new Santa Fe is going to be functional, but also look good. And I think this definitely gives you the best of both worlds.

In regards to attachments, of course, if we are going to have a hitch receiver, we can put a ball in there and be able to trailer off. Whether it's one of our construction trailers, we just have a bunch of gear on there, or if it's a boat trailer. Whatever it may be, if it has a two inch by two inch shank, we are going to be able to put any type of bike racks. Or, since this Santa Fe isn't necessarily the biggest vehicle, we can actually put a couple of hitch mounted cargo carriers in the back to free up some of that space in the back of our Santa Fe. So our passengers will be a little bit more comfortable whenever we're going down the road. Also, if you guys are fans of biking, we actually have a bunch of different bike racks that we have here at etrailer that are going to fit into this as well.

This hitch receiver is going to accept a five eighths inch pin, but it's not going to come with the trailer hitch receiver itself. But it is a one-stop shop here at each trailer. You guys can just go there and you guys could pick one up whenever you pick up your hitch receiver. Also, with our safety chain loops down low, they're plenty big. So even if you have just smaller ones, we are going to be able to put those on there. But also for those more heavy duty ones, we're going to have plenty of room to be able to fit those on there and get everything secured down properly.

In regards to weight capacity, we are going to have a trailer tongue weight of 750 pounds. So what that means is the amount of downward force on this hitch receiver, it's going to be about 750 pounds. So to put that into perspective, if you guys had the etrailer cargo carrier on the back of this hitch receiver, it has a weight capacity of 500, so we can completely load that whole entire cargo carrier up and not exceed our tongue weight. It is going to have a gross trailer weight of 5,000 pounds. And that's just going to be the pull strength and stopping strength of your trailer, and everything that you have on it. So as long as everything on your trailer and your trailer included is under 5,000 pounds, you should be good. So those weight capacities that we went over was for the etrailer hitch. I strongly suggest that you go into owner's manual, in your Hyundai, and just make sure that your vehicle can actually handle that kind of weight. We're going to go over a couple of measurements for you guys. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost point of our rear bumper, is going to be about five inches. That's just going to give you guys an idea of if you're going to be able to put an accessory into your hitch and put it into the fold up position. Let's say like an etrailer cargo carrier. And we're also going to give you another measurement, which is from the top of the inside of our receiver tube to the ground, it's going to be about 13 inches. So I would definitely recommend accessories that have a little bit of rise to the shank, just to give us a little bit more ground clearance. So the first thing we need to do is remove our spare tire. And what you're going to need to do that is a seven sixteenths inch socket. And there's going to be a little pulley system up here. And pretty much you can use either the seven sixteenths, or an 11 mil, to tighten or loosen that. I actually, once I took the spare tire off, I tightened it back up. So it's not really that difficult just to get this cable out of the way. I will go over the mounting holes, but as of right now, we have two things in the way. We're going to have the exhaust on this side, which we're going to have to remove. But then on the other side, we're ac
