Guan Ping is... annoying to learn, to say the very least. He's among the mid-tier characters in recent memories that took me the most attempts to clear 5-star stages with.

The general idea with him is C3 for freezing/musou filling in small crowd sizes, and C4 for freezing/musou filling in bigger crowds. His multi-hit spinning C4 is also an excellent dash for getting past a blocking opponent. His musou has the exact same hitbox and animation as his C4. On paper, everything about this guy should work together to produce a high-tier character, but alas, he has two very glaring weaknesses.

His first weakness is the fact that his entire moveset has a very low hitbox, meaning just like Gan Ning, he really struggles against mounted officers. It's not IMPOSSIBLE to hit an officer off his horse with his musou, but you have to find a very specific angle: If the mounted officer is facing 12 o'clock, then you need control your musou to spin to either 5 or 7 o'clock extremely close to his horse to knock him off.

His second weakness is his EXTREMELY unsafe True Musou ending, which renders him one of the most vulnerable characters in this game during both Rage and red health. The entire point of Rage Tokens is to give you an extremely active offense during a 30-second interval. If you have to use more than half of that 30 seconds to run around to reposition yourself just to make Guan Ping's terrible True musou ending safe, then it misses the entire point.
