NOTE: I'm calling this video a "remake-ish" because this fan is NOT the same Air King 9016 I filmed back in 2010. (   • Air King 16" Wall Fan  ) That fan was parted out in order to save my Air King 9163 wall fan after its neck piece broke.

Anyway, here is an Air King 16" oscillating wall fan model #9016L, dated 1998, assembled by Lasko Metal products in West Chester, PA using components made by Sanyo in Forrest City, AR. I found this fan being sold secondhand on eBay after what I'm assuming was two decades of commercial usage. Outside of a general cleaning, it needed a new speed control/indicator knob, and pull cord fob, which I luckily had on hand thanks to the 9016M I parted out earlier in 2020. The propeller on this fan is also the same one I used on the 9016M, as the propeller that came with this fan in addition to having a small split in one of the blades was out of balance enough to send vibrations up the wall.

Seven Springs, a ski resort near me had an abundance of Air King wall fans, including two of this exact variant mounted directly side by side in a snack window. It is to date the weirdest wall fan install I've seen, and makes no sense considering the one fan I always saw running was always oscillating. No word on whether or not they're still there, my last trip to Seven Springs was in 2012 or so.
