This can make your vanlife campervan build better!
Cooler or 12v fridge for campervan / vanlife van build is a tough choice to make. I agonized over the decision during our vanbuild. Primarily cost was an issue and power requirements were an issue as well.
Coolers are an easy choice.
Add ice and off you go.
A 12v car fridge or DC refrigerator freezer requires power.
I went for a powered 12-volt refrigerator and I kick myself for not doing it first.
Plan for it in your van build and it won't be a regret.
It's worth it.
I bought an inexpensive one and it's been going strong for 5 years.
