Welding THE WORST Aluminum Casting I’ve Ever Seen

Cast aluminum is one of the more difficult things to weld. And this is the NASTIEST casting I’ve ever worked on. During a unfortunate series of events I cracked my custom Harleys inner primary. With a new one costing over $500 I knew it was worth trying to repair it. But this thing is FULL of impurities. Luckily I’ve made a relationship with Rockmount Welding and they had just the tig welding rod to help me fix this casting! Will it hold up?
