Hey Guys,

So some important points to note,
1) we opted to take the early morning 7 am shatabdi express. Vande Bharat train runway just 5 mins prior to shatabdi though we didn’t get our tickets.

Please book the Statue of Unity tickets in advance as the slots tend to get booked.

2) Suggest you avoid the viewing gallery as the view is not that exceptional. Instead spend more time enjoying the view from the feet of the statue.

3) It gets super crowded on weekends so if you have small kids with you then please bear thsi in mind.

4) They have buggy service and escalators as the walk from the entry gate to the statue is approx 500-700 meters.

5) drinking water portals are put up so don’t forget to carry a water bottle.

6) If you get tired then there is a food Center and even a Starbucks inside the premises 😁

7) It tends to get very hot in the afternoons and there is hardly any shade except when you enter the museum part.

8) Also we don’t promote zoos and the best way to see the animals is in their natural habitat ( we have covered kuno, yala national park and Gandhisagar on the page). However since there isn’t much to do around you can visit the zoo and the bird park.
