We kicked off the songwriting and demo recording process for ‚I Am My Mother‘ and ‚Orbit‘ back in 2017. But, because we were on the road a lot, we couldn‘t really get serious about it until 2020. We spent most of that year on pre-production, followed by a 8-week rehearsal period in early 2021, before diving headfirst into a solid 23-day recording session at the Mazzive Sound Productions studio in Biel.

After our time in the studio, we headed back to our bandroom in Zurich to finish up some overdubs.
We ended up releasing both an album and an EP. ‚I Am My Mother‘ saw the light of day on February 25, 2022, followed by the EP ‚Orbit‘ on November 11, 2022. Since these releases, our journey has been
marked by continuous touring.

Janine is already brimming with ideas for new songs, and initial demos are already in progress.
However, the tricky part is finding enough time to truly focus on bringing these songs to life, especially with our crazy busy touring schedule. So, after giving it a lot of thought, we‘ve decided to scale back our touring
commitments a bit in order to make more room for creating new music in the near future.
