► ISLAS CANARIAS - Pasodoble - Los Sabandeños

Canarias es un archipiélago del Océano Atlántico que conforma una de las diecisiete comunidades autónomas de España.
Está formada por siete islas principales: El Hierro, La Gomera, La Palma y Tenerife, que forman la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife; y Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria y Lanzarote, que componen la provincia de Las Palmas.

Las islas de origen volcánico, tienen clima subtropical, aunque varía localmente según la altitud y vertiente norte/sur. Esta variabilidad climática da lugar a una gran diversidad biológica que, junto a la riqueza paisajística y geológica, justifica la existencia en Canarias de cuatro Parques Nacionales, también, que varias islas sean reservas de la biosfera de la Unesco y otras tengan zonas declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

Todos estos atractivos naturales, el buen clima y sus maravillosas playas, hacen de las islas un importante destino turístico, siendo visitadas cada año por cerca de doce millones de personas.


Canary Islands is an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean that forms one of the seventeen autonomous communities of Spain. It consists of seven main islands: El Hierro, La Gomera, La Palma and Tenerife, which are the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote, which make up the province of Las Palmas. The volcanic islands have a subtropical climate, but varies locally by altitude and slope north / south. This climatic variability leads to biological diversity, along with the rich landscape and geological Canary justifies the existence of four National Parks, too, that several islands are Biosphere Reserves of UNESCO and other areas have been declared World Heritage Humanity.
