I wrote this in a place of feeling every world problem from genocide to famine, corruption to indifference, abuse to misogyny, suicide and more plus, I was thousands of miles away from home living in Beijing...I cried anywhere from a half hour to an hour...and then just felt empty. A clear cathartic empty. From this empty...I felt a part of me ask, "What next...?" What do I do now...? This poem was the answer that came out...

It's a dream of mine for this poem to go viral, so if you believe in this, share and please talk about it to everyone you know and share it as often as you can with family, friends, or even your community groups that you feel may need to hear it or think about the subjects discussed in the poem. Incase this is the first poem you've seen or heard of mine, I'm about helping people realize that there is always a solution, sometimes hard, sometimes not easy to see. I'm about loving those that are hardest to love. I'm about having meaningful, true, and hilarious connections with people. I'm about being so silly that you poop when you laugh. I'm about helping people find their inner peace through dialogue, art, poetry, and sincere communication. I'm about sharing the perspective that world peace already exists and there is a loving way for it to be constant and frequent before I leave this lovely world.

***I have now thought of this poem in dedication to every victim of gun violence, from wars to streets, accidents to willful intention, and to increasing our trust of communication with love and unity behind it...as opposed to changing a mind with a gun, or stating your opinion with a gun, or resorting to a gun to truly speak your mind. To truly speak your mind...please...I invite, challenge, and beg you ...to use your heart and release your pain and opinions in a healthy or creative way and dig into your self and your thoughts of why you would use a gun to express yourself and if that is hurting or helping your cause you feel so connected to or the pain you wish wasn't there.
