Southampton came back from a goal down to beat Bolton 2-1 at St Mary's in The FA Youth Cup Fourth Round.

The visitors took the lead in the first half on Wednesday night via an Oscar Threlkeld header before Corby Moore hit the leveller on 55 minutes with a similar headed goal.

With ten minutes remaining Saints secured their place in the Fifth Round where they will face Nottingham Forest or Wigan Athletic.

Jack Stephens weaved his way through the Bolton defence before providing an inviting pass for Jake Sinclair to convert.

In Wales, Tottenham enjoyed a fantastic Wednesday night with a Premier League win for Harry Redknapp's first team and a 2-1 triumph for the U18s against Cardiff.

Two goals in as many first-half minutes from Jack Munns and Souleymane Coulibaly put Spurs in the driving seat at the new Cardiff City Stadium.

Jesse Darko pulled one back for the Welsh club on the hour mark but failed to inspire a comeback.

Spurs U18s coach Alex Inglethorpe said: "I was really pleased that we didn't collapse in on ourselves after their goal and even though there was only a one-goal difference, we were brave in how we played in that final half-hour."

Chelsea and Norwich were still level at 0-0 after 120 minutes but The Blues progressed after winning 4-2 in the penalty shootout.

The famous West Ham Academy side made light work of Brighton with a 4-1 win at Upton Park.

A Rob Hall double and strikes from Elliot Lee and Matthias Fanimo were enough to see the Hammers over the line in a performance that impressed coach Nick Haycock.

"In a game like that when you're on the front foot for the whole time, it's the forwards that take the headlines, but I thought the back four showed great discipline," Haycock said.
