From breaking a 9 map loss streak to an insane comeback with there backs to the wall. This Final had it all, and today we are showing you all how G2 did the impossible at Blast Fall Final.
Blast is one of the big events you want to win as a team. They have gathers the status in the scene as one of the best TO’s, after hosting the last major in CS:GO and just there amazing production quality.
Going into the Blast Fall Final 2024 we had some of the best teams in the world fighting for this trophy, and these two, who invited them?
But the field were stacked with the lowest rated team being ranked 17, while we had 6 teams from the top 10 in the world.
The format of this event was best of 3 for all matches but the grand final, as that would be played in the best of 5 format.
Going in, the 8 teams would be split up to 2 groups, where 1 team from each group would be eliminated after losing 2 matches, while the last 3 teams would qualify. with the team winning 2 matches going directly into the semi finals, while the rest would go to the quarter finals.
as most thought, falcons and Astralis, the only two teams that was not ranked in the top 10, would be the first out, and… they were all correct.
