Today we are taking a closer look at the latest Atowak Spaceship, yet another Wandering Hour complication that us, regular people, can afford.
Unlike the tarantula, that uses rotation on both axis, this one uses only horizontal rotation. Also the shape is something between the Tarantula and the Cobra I reviewed. Being more wearable than Cobra, but not as wearable as the Tarantula.
It is still powered by a Miyota 9039 that has been modified, and uses the same incredbily high quality FKM rubber strap as the Tarantula.
One thing to note is that due to propreitary lug design, you're stuck with their stock straps, which means you can't wear this if your wrist is under 6,5" as even on my wrist the smallest setting is borderline too big.
The watch itself is a spectacle, especially the incredibly shaped sapphire and the running seconds circle that mimics spaceships from the movies!
If you are interested in it, my advice is to sign up with the coupon as it knocks off $500 of the retail price!
