According to the website of Guinness World Records, the honey of Centauri Company, a Turkish company, is the most expensive honey in the world. Tell that the price of this honey is 10,000 Euros i.e. 8 lakh 60 thousand rupees per kilogram. Now you must be thinking that what is there in this?
So tell you that this honey is not as sweet as the common honey sold in the market, but the taste of this honey is mildly bitter which is very beneficial for our body. A lot of nutrients like magnesium, potassium, and antioxidants are found in this honey in plenty. Like the rest of the common honey, it is extracted only once or not thrice a year.
And such expensive honey is extracted from a cave with a height of 2500 meters above sea level. Medicinal plants are grown around the cave so that bees can eat and make healthy honey.
After extracting this honey, it is sent to the Turkish Food Institute for examination, where the quality of this honey is tested and then packed to sell it in the market!
