🔵 Summary: The squad responds to a call to open an elevator that has shut down. Arson Investigator Chris Holmes from Rescue Squad 3 is on-scene at a row-house fire that just got extinguished. He is beginning his investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

Season 2 follows the first responders of Washington, DC. A camera crew is in embedded in fire companies through the city and follows each crew during their 48 hour shift as they fight fires, perform rescues on land and at sea, and assist during medical emergencies. Additionally, we get to know the individual firemen in the company and what the everyday life is for these everyday heroes.
