Is the BMW iX the most polarising car of 2022?

Opinions are seriously divided about the design of the new BMW iX, but one thing’s for sure – it stands out.

The iX is BMW’s first standalone electric vehicle model since the adorable i3 hatch that was discontinued last year. It’s a large five-seat EV SUV that competes with the Audi e-tron, Jaguar I-Pace and the Tesla Model X.

Yes it’s pricey, but it has a healthy electric driving range, cutting-edge on-board and safety tech and a memorable drive experience.
