Two years ago, Jona was dropped almost immediately at the Novice Tour of Manawatū.

This weekend, he’s back to see how far he’s come.

Part 1 follows the build-up and the first day of racing at the Novice Tour of Manawatū. From leaving home on Friday, settling into Manawatū, and getting a feel for the roads, to facing the same climbs that ended his race two years earlier.

Saturday features two stages:
– Stage 1: Road race, starting with a decisive climb
– Stage 2: Hill climb

This race has history, and Day 1 is about redemption, confidence, and testing whether the work of the past two years has paid off.

Part 2 covers the final day of racing and how the story ends.
