Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village has completely preserved the ecological culture of the Miao ethnic group. It is home to more than 6,000 Miao people. Consisting of more than a dozen natural villages spread along the mountains, it is the largest Miao-inhabited village cluster in China and the world. The Chinese writer, Yu Qiuyu, once commented as follows on Xijiang Village: "Answering everything with beauty, Xijiang outshines all other Miao villages in the world".
