On the other hand, Automatic License Plate Recognition is a specialized feature where the camera uses built-in software to automatically identify plate numbers and letters. The system then logs captured license plates into a searchable database, and can even compare plates against access control lists for enhanced security. This automation greatly streamlines surveillance operations but has more demanding installation requirements.
