The Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law is an academic centre dedicated to the study, understanding and promotion of fundamental rights for non-human animals, based in Cambridge, UK.

The Law Lecturers’ Workshops are part of our Centre’s teaching outreach mission, which aims at giving interested Law lecturers the tools to teach an Animal Rights Law course at their home university.

In the Workshops, we share all the course materials from the Cambridge Animal Rights Law course, we discuss strategies of how to put together an Animal Rights Law syllabus, we look at what readings to include, as well as at how to get students involved beyond class participation.

The Workshops are delivered by our co-founders and co-Directors Dr Raffael Fasel and Dr Sean Butler, and managed by our Teaching Network Manager Eva Bernet Kempers.

We hold two Workshops every year, throughout the world. The Workshops support a key goal of our Centre, which is to have courses in Animal Rights Law offered in 100 universities worldwide within 5 years.
