The Gibson SG Junior is a stripped-back rock machine for people who are more concerned about great sound than a multitude of options. A single P-90 with a wraparound bridge gives a snappy and rich tone, one that really opens up with a touch of drive. The Jr is also super-light - so if you like throwing your guitar around when you play, it won't hold you back, and allows you to play for longer.

The SG has a thin, tapered neck which is fast to play right up to the 22nd fret. With its sharp neck joint and horns, it's as comfortable at the top as it is at the bottom. This is a piece of rock history brought back to its '60s spec, providing all the allure that guitarists from AC/DC's Angus Young to Ash's Charlotte Hatherly fell in love with. It's an absolute gem.
