From here, either scroll through the list or use the search function to find Fitbit*. Once located, tap on *Fitbit and then select *Connect*. You’ll be redirected to log in to your Fitbit account and asked to grant permissions. Approve the necessary permissions for data sharing, including steps, exercise, and nutrition data.

After granting access, your Fitbit and MyFitnessPal accounts will be linked. Fitbit will send data such as steps and exercise into MyFitnessPal, and MyFitnessPal will send logged food and calorie data back into Fitbit. This real-time sync helps you manage both activity and diet without having to input data twice.

You can confirm the connection by returning to the Apps & Devices section in MyFitnessPal. Fitbit should appear under *Connected Apps*. If syncing doesn’t work initially, try logging out and back into both apps or disconnecting and reconnecting.
