Fix Subaru P1449 Permanently (I hope!)

I have a 2017 Subaru WRX. It has gotten trouble code P1449 4 times in under 70,000 miles. This code indicates trouble with the filter that connects to the fuel system. I show where the filter is, how to clean it, and how I hope to prevent it from happening again.
