We took the BMW X3M Competition on a road trip to the Hardknott Pass! The first of (hopefully) a mini series of road trips in the BMW X3M Competition! This time we went to the Lake District to explore the Wyrnose Pass and the Hardknott Pass! They were just as beautiful and challenging as i have been told about! Deffo worth a visit!
The Hardknott Pass claims the title of the steepest road in England so that was a challenge i couldn't refuse in the X3m comp. If you are planning a road trip to the north, be sure to add this on to your road trip! the Lake District is amazing wherever you go, we checked out Windermere, Blea Tarn, Langdale, Wrynose Pass and of course the amazing Hardknott Pass.
The BMW X3M competition handled the roads well enough, although a points there was too much computer input and the power was cut and traction control was all all over the place. Maybe next time i would turned the x3m competition traction control full off and just be in 4WD Sport.
Mistakes in the video - pronouncing Wrynose wrong all the way through, i forgot to colour grade the drone footage, probably others, so i do apologies in advance!
