The QX50 is powered by a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cyl engine, which comes standard with a new variable compression technology. This allows the QX50 to produce 268 horsepower while still maintaining a combined 27 mpg.

Since this model is the upgraded QX50 Essential, it comes with some extra features in the interior. The standard leather seats offer 8-way power adjustments, and have plenty of headroom and legroom. The infotainment system, however, is extremely outdated and lags a lot.
